Practice Payment Policy

 

AESTHETIC CONSULTATIONS

It is a requirement of this Practice that all patient information, including paperwork and photographic documentation, is received by our office prior to the patient’s scheduled appointment.

Payment is accepted via BPAY, credit card, direct debit and cash (prior to appointment).

As the Aesthetic Consultation has been reserved exclusively for the patient, verbal confirmation along with payment of the consultation is required 1 week prior to the allocated appointment time.

Should a patient fail to arrive or cancel within 48 hours of their scheduled appointment, it is the policy of this Practice that prepayment of the consultation is forfeited.

PAYMENT POLICY

MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS

It is the policy of this Practice that Consultation fees are paid on the day of the consultation.

Payment is accepted via credit card, phone payment prior to the consultation and cash.

Should patients have a valid referral, the invoice will be submitted directly to Medicare for rebate entitlements. Allow 5 – 7 days for these entitlements to appear in patients account.

AESTHETIC PROCEDURES

It is the policy of this Practice that the surgical deposit for all surgical procedures is paid once the patient schedules their surgery. Full payment of the procedure is to be finalised two weeks prior to the scheduled surgery.  Procedures classed as purely cosmetic do not attract any rebate from either Medicare or their health funds.

MEDICAL PROCEDURES

It is the policy of this Practice that the surgical deposit is paid for all surgical procedures on scheduling. Full payment of the procedure is to be finalised two weeks prior to the scheduled surgery.  

The patients billing will be finalised as soon as possible following surgery with the receipt emailed directly to the patient for claiming purposes.  The patient is then able to claim their rebate entitlements from Medicare and their health fund via a two way claim form.

SAME DAY PROCEDURES

It is the policy of this Practice that full payment is required on the day of the procedure.  

Payment methods accepted include BPAY, credit card, direct debit and cash.

Following receipt of histology results, the patients billing will be processed and forwarded to medicare for rebate purposes.  This entire process takes approximately 2 weeks.
